Week 12 - Wrap Up, Social Networks

A few of these would be handy - I can see that we may use the forms for organising functions at work because the spreadsheet is already done for you when the replies come in.

Week 11 - Online Applications and Tools

Wow, I loved this I can see a lot of potential for these, especially if you were out and about and needed access to documents on the run, or didn't have Office at home and needed to do some work. Great.

Week 10 - Mashups

I created this calendar in bighugelabs.com I will have to spend a bit more time exploring but this will be very helpful in the future. It was one of the mashup websites we visited and it seems quite easy.

Week 9 - Podcasts

I can see merit in podcasting it would be very helpful if you really wanted to catch up on information you missed.

Week 8 - Answer Board

I can see that some people may get value out of this tool however, to me it is a complete waste of time.

Week 7 - Tagging

My favourite part of the training this morning was LibraryThing, I can see that I will use this in the future looking for the order in which books are written in series for particular authors. I can now find what I am looking for!!

Week 6

This is a clip I found that interested me, I'm sure it is not related to any library activities!! I can see that this would be a great way to advertise any events coming up or to show the public our new facilities eg Ingleburn Library - a virtual tour.
